Black cohosh (tsimitsifougka)The black cohosh, a member of the family Ranunculaceae, is a popular herb but it is unclear if and how it works is not fully understood the effects of the estrogen receptors or hormone levels.The Tsimitsifougka (Cimicifuga Racemosa) or racemose Coriander is well known herb in the treatment of nerve, muscle aches and arthritis. Useful part is the dried root.The root of tsimitsifougkas containing resin (simisifougini) bitter triterpene glycosides ranounkoulini (upon drying becomes anemonini) salicylic acid, tannin and estrogenic component. The herb acts as an emmenagogue antispasmodic and sedative smoother (thanks to anemonini). Exercises strong influence as soothing and smoothing the female genetic system. It can be used beneficially in cases of painful or delayed menstruation. Relieves cramps in ovaries and the uterus. Is buffered normal hormonal activity. It is also known to use at headaches and hum ear. Because of salicylic acid containing has antiinflammatory activity and is useful in cases of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and sciatica.Should not exceed 2 grams. root tsimitsifougkas daily.
